Do you send the clipboard data to your cloud?
No. All scanning happens locally within the browser extension using WebAssembly. The text content of the clipboard never leaves the user's device. We only receive metadata (e.g. "User blocked 1 SSN") for the admin dashboard.
Does this work on the ChatGPT desktop app?
Currently, PasteGuard is a browser extension and supports Chrome, Edge, and Brave. Support for native OS-level clipboard filtering is coming in Q3.
Can I define my own regex rules?
Yes. Enterprise plans allow you to push custom Regex patterns (e.g. internal SKU formats or Project Codes) via GPO to all employees.
