Extension Icon is Grayed Out

If the SecurePresent shield icon in your browser toolbar is gray, it means the extension is not active on the current tab.

Common Reasons

1. Restricted Browser Pages

Chrome restricts extensions from running on internal settings pages (like chrome://settings) or the Chrome Web Store itself. Try navigating to a regular website like google.com or your CRM to see if the icon turns blue.

2. Manually Paused

You may have manually paused the extension. Click the gray icon to open the popup menu and ensure the main toggle switch at the top is set to ON.

3. Site Exclusion List

Check if you have accidentally added the current domain to your "Excluded Sites" list.
Go to Settings > Exclusions and remove the domain if listed.
